Eddie passed away March 4, 1999. He was one of the greatest performers of genuine country & western music. This album presents the typical mainstream country sound of the mid 40s as performed by Ernest Tubb, Jimmy Wakely, Tex Ritter and many others. Musicians never were mentioned on them old Standard transcriptions, but i should be mentioned that the accordionist and lead guitar player are superb. Along with Eddie’s strong, clear voice you will certainly feel that this album is a must for you.
