Zeke lived from 1911 to 1994. He had his first Grand Ole Opry performance in 1930. His first single was recorded with Texas Ruby. He had his own Western Swing Gang. This exciting band backed him up on 11 tracks of this album. The other tracks were recorded with only guitar accompaniment and are excellent yodel songs. Zeke was also known as The Dixie Yodeler. All songs recorded from about 1945 to 1947. This album is of great historical meaning and filling a gap in your CD collection.
