Al Clauser's Western Band has been very popular from the 1930s to 1950s in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area. They had first their recording session for the ARA label in 1937, but all other items were probably recorded for broadcast purposes only on radio transcriptions. This CD contains 1 track from 1937 plus 21 radio transcriptions which they probably did in the late 1940s. The vocals are executed by Lambert Bartak, Bob Willhite, the late Al Clauser, Curly Engel or by the entire Trio. An interesting rare collection which will certainly fill a gap in the collections of real Western Music fans. More about the group here:
