The late J. E. Mainer with his Mountaineers was one of the greatest mountain string bands in the Blue Ridge Mountains and in American history. J. E. remained a true hillbilly what his life and music is concerned. This is a collection of early Victor favorites of the 1930s with Wade Mainer and Zeke Morris and a King session of 1946 with his sons "Curly" J. E. Jr. & Glenn. More information here:
