Elton Britt was given name "The World's Highest Yodeler". That could be true indeed. However, I haven't heard anyone who could compete. This CD is not an all yodel CD. It rather reflects all of his abilities from Western songs to country blues, from slow love ballads to polka and yodeling duets with Rosalie Allen. In this album you will hear the period from Elton's very first solo recording from 1933 up to 1951.
