The couple of T Texas Tyler CDs (## 262 and 263) contain together 40 songs. Many haven't been released in an album before or have only been available in a dissatisfying condition. King Records often added echo to the songs or instruments that hardly ever sounded suitable. Here are 40 "pure" tracks digitally remastered and restored from the original old Four Star items which were originally released from 1946 to ca. 1950 with lots of good musicians of that time like Noel Boggs (steel), Joaquin Murphy (steel), Danny Decker (fiddle), Stanley Walker (lead guitar) etc. A must for every fan of hard country and swingin' western music of the era of the late "man with a growl in his voice.
