Eddie Dean is known to you through other releases in this catalog (please see respective descriptions). However, Jimmie Dean might sound brandnew to you (don't mix him up with Columbia's Jimmy Dean of "Big Bad John" fame). He started recording with Eddie Dean in 1934 for Decca. Some of their early items are included here. You will also hear Jimmie Dean and his Trail Riders with recordings of the mid 40s and items by Eddie Dean of the early 50s with such musicians as Speedy West, Harold Hensley and Jerry Byrd. CD includes some super rare stuff - altogether an album of great historical meaning.
