These extremely rare items by Red Foley were recorded for the M.M Cole transcription company when he was married to his second wife Judy Martin who comitted suicide in 1951. Red had married her in 1933. Probably these recordings were made in the 1940s when he was with WLS' National Barn Dance in Chicago. Red does some beautiful singing and yodeling on this CD including several items each with Judy Martin and the Mountain Rangers western trio. It is an album of great historical meaning and I bet you won't find these recordings elsewhere. For more information get this link: |
