Riley was a cowboy singer basically known on America's east coast. Vaughn Horton <steel guitar> played most sessions with him, it seems. Probably he used other New York sessions as well who used to back up Red River Dave, Dick Thomas, Elton Britt etc. Riley often recorded with Western Trio. His most popular songs was "Who Me? <If You Don't Talk Too Much>" that was later a big hit for Tex Williams. He also was known as a cowboy philosopher and wrote songs with popular artists like Red Foley and Foy Willing, to name a couple. All items probably recorded in and around 1946. Great version of Fred Kirby's "Atomic Power" is included as well. None of these items have been re-released before.
