The late Clyde "Skeets" Yaney was one of the top yodelers from the 1930s to 1950s and one of the top country disc jockeys of the USA. He recorded approx. 4 dozen songs from the late 40s to mid 50s for Columbia, MGM and Town & Country. Here is a collection from the period 1949 to 1952. He is vocalist on all items plus Evelyn Wilson on 3 of the tracks. Most of the songs were recorded in Nashville. Chet Atkins as well Jerry Byrd and Don Helms could easily dedected as three of the top musicians who joined these sessions.
