The Hi-Flyers was one of the most popular Western Swing bands of the 1930s. They started as a string band in 1929 and disbanded as a western swing formation in 1942. Some of the musicians they employed and can be heard on this disc are Sheldon Bennett <fiddle & electric guitar>, Billy Briggs <steel guitar>, Buster Ferguson <guitar>, Dick Reinhart <bass>, Andrew Schroder <steel guitar>. Great sound!
