The 3 pretty Dinning Sisters cut the songs of this album in 1942 at the Universal Recording Studios in Chicago before they began to record with such famous artists as Tennessee Ernie Ford and Tex Ritter on Capitol Records. Later they started a career in the pop field and became not quite as popular as the Andrews Sisters although the Dinning Sisters sounded lovelier compared to them. Among other NBC staff musicians you can hear George Barnes <guitar>, Jack Fascinato <piano> and Auggie Klein <accordion>. For more information about this CD and the Dinnings click here: |
