All items of this popular country & western swing band of this CD were recorded during their pre Capitol era when they weren't influenced by pop music and such like on their later recordings. Perk Williams does all the vocal parts except on "Honk Your Horn" which was sung by Jimmy Heap himself. All items were recorded in Taylor, Texas. Williams also plays fiddle, Cecil Harris steel guitar. Guitarists are Jimmie Heap and Horace Barnett. Arlie Carter plays piano and Bill Glendening bass. |
